"Compete as an Individual but Train as a Team"

A Lifelong sports enthusiast, having represented Bedfordshire Schools at National Swimming Championships, captained England U21 Ladies Cricket Team and played Hockey for British Universities. Currently a Non-Executive Director of Leicester-shire and Rutland Sport (LRS). Best sporting achievement: 50-54 World Age Group gold medallist in Sprint Triathlon & Aquathlon in  2011.

Loving my “retirement hobby” (!) after a broad business career, working more recently in the IT industry (Vice President of Operations) for HERE, Nokia’s Mapping Division.

I still remember and understand the challenges of balancing a busy work career with  sporting aspirations and a personal appreciation of the special challenges of the older female athlete, including overcoming injury..
