Open Water Introduction & Skills for Sportive Swimmers

Session Details

Goal: To build confidence in Open Water and to familiarise you with the essential skills of Open Water Swimming for mass participation events.
Location: Rutland Watersports, Bull Brigg Lane, Whitwell, Rutland LE15 8BL
Format: Small group session with approx. 15min introduction and 45min in-water time.
Programme Content: Wetsuit on/off, general water confidence, sighting, turning and getting used to swimming confidently in a group!
Dates: Thursday 30th May, Thursday 20th June, 6:30 - 7:30pm
Availability: Each Session is limited to a maximum of 15 participants. Booking essential.
Cost: £21.00 inclusive of Swim fee, Swim Float & Parking, payable on the night by cash, card or bank transfer (details proivided). Wetsuit hire £3.00 on the night if required.
Health & Safety: You will be required to sign a disclaimer and provide emergency contact details on the night. Minimum course entry requirement is an ability to swim 500 metres continuously in a swimming pool of any stroke (20 lengths of a 25m pool).


These small group coached sessions have been targeted at Open Water Swimmers attempting Sportives or Mass start swims.
