After a successful season in 2020 the small group session swim sessions (up to 12 people) are back for 2021.

Two swim experiences will be offered: Close to Shore is for recreational swimmers, mainly swimming breaststroke, and potentially new to open water. Depending on conditions on the night we will swim gently out into the lake in calm conditions to admire the views, or we may explore the sheltered creek area and bird life that live there. There will be plenty of time to chat and enjoy the freedom of the lake. Minimum age 15yrs with accompanying adult and previous open water experience highly desirable.

Venturing out is for more confident recreational or sportive swimmers, mainly swimming frontcrawl who want to venture out a little further into the lake, even if it's a little choppy, and view the 3 church spires from beyond the creek. My objective is to make this a fun experience to remember. Minimum age 15yrs with accompanying adult and previous open water experience essential.

This year, we have introduced a new booking/pre-payment system to make your experience as safe, easy and fast as possible on the day.
